This blog will dovetail two of my favorite interests: Writing mystery novels and enjoying the fiber arts. And llamas— lots and lots of llamas. Hopefully, over the next several months, we’ll get to know each other as I talk about my upcoming novels.
I’m the author of five novels in the Jubilant Falls series: BARN BURNER, THE MAJOR’S WIFE, LETHAL LITTLE LIES, MURDER ON THE LUNATIC FRINGE and DEATH OF A HIGH MAINTENANCE BLONDE.
The Jubilant Falls series centers around the staff of a small Ohio daily newspaper and the crimes they solve.
I am the former managing editor of the Washington Court House (Ohio) Record Herald. I’ve been an award-winning journalist for more than 20 years, writing for a number of Ohio newspapers covering the cops and courts beat, and the Associated Press, covering any stories thrown my way. I am currently a freelance journalist.
My mysteries often center around the damage family secrets can do and the stigma of mental illness.
THE MAJOR’S WIFE’ received honorable mention in the 2011 Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards.
My husband Greg, a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, and I have two children and two grandchildren. We raise llamas and alpacas on their farm in Enon, Ohio.
